Time to say goodbye
Dear Iranian friends,
Before passing the border of Iran we read the highlights of Iran in the Lonely Planet. Number 1: meet the people. The authors are absolutely right! Of course we liked Tabriz’ bazar, Yazd, Persepolis and the Holy Shrine, but it was because of you, our Iranian friends, that we enjoyed Iran so much.
It was so wonderful to meet real Iranian family’s, to enjoy all kind of Iranian food, to take part in English lessons, to cycle together, to visit and to be guided in interesting places, to hear all about the history of Iran and to be welcome in your life.
We want to thank you for a very pleasant stay in Iran. Hopefully we will meet again, inshallah!

Ik kan niet wachten om de verhalen te lezen over Iran, ik heb over de tijd veel met mensen van Iraanse kom af te maken gehad en dat waren altijd mooie en gastvrije ontmoetingen. maar dat was hier in Nederland, jullie hebben ze daar ontmoet en ik zie dus uit naar die ervaringen van jullie, geniet van de volgende etappe.
