Dutch apple pie
What do you need
*300 grams of flower
*225 grams of butter/margarine
*150 grams of sugar
*vanilla sugar
*2 eggs
*a little bit of salt
*4-5 yellow/green apples
*raisins
*cinnamon as you like
*sugar as you like
*nuts if you like
What to do
-Clean the apples, cut them in little pieces and lay them to dry;
-Wash the raisins and dry them;
-Butter the baking form and put some flower on it;
-Mix the flower, eggs, butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt;
-Take about 2/3 of the dough and roll it to a 1 cm thick slice that covers the bottom and sides of the baking form, you can also cover the baking form by hand;
-Mix the apple with the cinnamon and sugar and put the raisins with it;
-Put the apple/raisins mix in the baking form;
-Make wisps of about 0,5 cm wide of the last 1/3 of the dough and cover the applemix with it, make a diamond pattern of it;
-Put the cake in the oven that is already warm;
-Bake the cake at 175 degrees, it will take about 45-90 minutes.
Dutch butter cake
What do you need
*200 grams of flower
*175 grams of (dairy)butter
*150 grams of sugar
What to do
Mix the ingredients and put the mix in a low baking form (you can also make one of aluminium foil). Bake the cake at 180 degrees. it will take about 20-30 minutes.
Kaiserschmarnn
What do you need
*150 grams of flower
*50 grams of butter
*300 grams of milk
*3 eggs
*raisins
*icing / powdered sugar
*a little bit of salt
What to do
-Seperate the egg white from the egg yellow;
-Whip the egg white so that it will become stiff;
-Mix the egg yellow with the flower, butter, milk, salt and powdered sugar;
-Put the stiff egg white through it;
-Melt some butter in a frying pan;
-Put the mixture in the pan and put the raisins in it;
-Bake the Kaiserschmarnn at one side and turn it when the bottom is golden (it will take about 15 minutes at low fire) and bake the other side.
